The Amina Anthropological Resources Association Incorporated (AARA Inc.) is a not-for-profit organization that researches, preserves, and promotes archaeology, cultural heritage and artistic resources in Newfoundland, Labrador and the Arctic. We also inform the public about those resources through educational and public-relations programs.

As a team, we undertake archaeology, art and heritage research in the northern world, with Newfoundland and Labrador being our main focus. We also explore the cultural relationships between NL, the Canadian Arctic and Greenland. One of the integral and most enjoyable parts of this research is to make our results available to communities, groups and individuals. Therefore, in addition to researching and publishing our efforts in academic journals, we also establish various education-related and promotional programs, including archaeology field-schools, workshops, media projects, student scholarship programs, as well as arts events, and other social programs deemed appropriate by the association.
